This website
This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking. All pages, styles and images are served from our own hosting — your browser makes no requests to third parties when you visit.
Server logs
Our hosting provider, Infomaniak (Switzerland), records technical logs when pages are requested (IP address, time, requested page, browser information) to run and secure the service. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure website. Logs are automatically deleted after a limited retention period set by the provider.
Hosting outside the UK
Our website and email are hosted in Switzerland. UK law recognises Switzerland as providing adequate data protection, so no additional safeguards are required.
If you write to us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to tell us. Messages are read by our volunteer administrators and used only to respond and to work together. Please do not send patient details or other confidential health information — email is not a secure channel. We keep correspondence for as long as it is needed.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us what personal data we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Write to info@hypnosiswithoutborders.org. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
